All Dunlop steel cord tapes are custom made to order and can be supplied in a wide range of Dunlop abrasion, cut, tear and tear protection classes as well as oil resistant and flame resistant. With widths ranging from 500 to 1600 mm, all Dunlop steel cord tapes have molded edges.

The crusher plies are embedded in the rubber coverings during the production process over the entire width and length of the belt, effectively forming a protective layer. The crusher plies are designed to significantly increase resistance to longitudinal tearing.
Dunlop Staramid has been specially developed as a lighter alternative to steel cord tape. It is designed for use on very long conveyors with center distances of up to several thousand meters. The superior properties of Staramid tape include low elongation, low weight and highly dynamic splicing efficiency. Staramid belts have exceptional durability.
No problem for Dunlop Steelcord Bands! To ensure optimum carcass protection, Dunlop RS sheaths are fitted as standard due to their excellent resistance to cutting combined with outstanding resistance to abrasion. Dunlop RS significantly exceeds the highest abrasion standards for both DIN W and the equivalent ISO ‘D’ standard. Other qualities such as oil, fire and heat resistant coatings are also available. All Dunlop coating grades are anti-static according to EN ISO 284 and have been extensively ozone tested in accordance with EN ISO 1431 ozone resistance (50 pphm, tensile 20%, no cracking for 96 hours) and resistance to the harmful effects of ultra-violet to prevent premature failure due to cracking of the tape surface.
