Dunlop oil resistant
Liquid and Solid Oil Resistant Conveyor belts. Oils and fats can have an extremely negative impact on the performance and lifetime of a conveyor belt as they can penetrate the tire and cause it to swell and deform, often causing serious operational problems. Oil and fat resistance can be classified into two groups: mineral oils and animal and vegetable oils and fats. Of these, mineral oils are the most corrosive and require a particularly high degree of protection.
Dunlop ROM coating
Dunlop ROM coating grade products utilize a special compound formula designed to resist penetration and therefore the damaging effects of oils and fats. Dunlop has also developed a special compound for situations involving highly abrasive mineral oils or high concentrations of animal and vegetable oils, creating the highly successful ROS coating grade.
Dunlop conveyor belts with oil and grease resistant coatings are used in many different industries such as chemical and fertilizer industries, wood, paper and cellulose industries, sugar and food industries, mixed transport and recycling plants. Both oil and flame resistant coatings are also available.
