Oil Resistant Conveyor Belts
Oils and fats often have a very harmful effect on rubber. However, materials containing them are transported every day. To protect the rubber on conveyor belts and prevent it from swelling, we recommend using types of rubber linings that are resistant to oils and greases. Since not all oils and greases are equally aggressive, engineers have developed different types of rubber linings to meet as wide a range of market requirements as possible.
All conveyor belts are antistatic according to EN ISO 284:2004. The oil resistance depends on the construction of the belt (ratio between liner and intermediate rubber, cut or protected edge, with or without underlay). These tapes are available in different structures: flat, Supergrip, Finegrip, Noppen or ribbed tapes.
