PT PPU Primary Scraper with Replaceable Blades
Tungsten and polyurethane replaceable tip scraper
In our scraper model, which has the same body as PT, tungsten blades can be replaced with polyurethane blades if desired.
A tape with a hot vulcanized joint is best cleaned with tungsten scraper blades. A tape with a mechanical splice is recommended to be cleaned with PU blade scrapers. In case of emergency damage, a tape that has been started with a hot vulcanized joint may have to be repaired with a tack or re-added with a mechanical joint. In this case you can change the blades of your PT PPU scraper from tungsten to PU and have a second scraper with the same scraper body. This way your tape will remain clean in any case.
