Saports of Knives
Saports are designed to provide flexibility to the blades. The rubber saports are extremely effective in absorbing vibrations and incoming impacts.
Saports are in rubber segments and each segment is 124 mm wide. They are easily mounted on the main axle. They are manufactured with a combination of two different hardnesses of rubber. The hard rubber segment (the part that wraps around the axle) provides a firm grip on the axle, while the softer segment (the curved part) gives the blades flexibility in all directions. Each of the scraper segments has a protective, unbreakable and non-stick guide. These diverters prevent the stripped material from accumulating on the scraper.
They work in a plane tangent to the drum. Tungsten blades have very good wear values and work for a very long time. Since they are mounted to the metal body with 2 bolts, they are very easy to replace.
The body of our scraper consists of robust metal profiles. It has a slide guide to determine the position of the scraper and to set the initial pressure. Thanks to its adaptable geometry, it is easily mounted on any type of conveyor. It has an adjustable axle to adapt to different chassis widths and can expand by 200 mm on both sides.
