Sliding Bands
In some cases, for technical reasons, it is not possible to mount rotary bearing rollers on the bearing side of some conveyor types. Therefore, a so-called sliding table is required for the operation of the belt. In such an application, the bottom surface of the belt is not covered with rubber, as this would increase the friction between the base (sliding table) and the belt. For this reason, our engineers have developed special sliding conveyor belts where friction is minimized.
Depending on the intended use, two types of textiles can be used for these conveyor belts:
- Type EP- can form a groove
- EMF type – transverse rigid band
– Wood industry and sawmills
– Recycling industry, waste processing, plants for processing mineral raw materials
– Packaging industry
– Airports
– Package terminals and packaging plants
– Food industry
