SUMMARY
The Shaw Almex SVP conveyor belt vulcanization press is the leading choice for heavy-duty modular conveyor belt vulcanization worldwide. Built with the core innovations of Almex technology, the SVP features:

Manufactured with a special extruded sheet, silicone heating components (up to 163 °C) and a durable composite insulation package, the flexible plate adapts to the thickness variations of the tape. The tight-fitting “quick coupling” ensures a smooth profile. Recessed power connections are gasketed for moisture resistance.
Superior E-type sleepers made of extruded aluminum are designed to operate in any belt width or operating temperature. Secured with recessed high tensile steel stud assemblies, E-travers provide a robust and small profile. All presses are also equipped with the Almex fixing system as an auxiliary E-travers lock for additional operator safety.
The press is supplied with the RC3 control panel with all cables ready, using the Dual Omron digital temperature control and display system for the vulcanization cycle. Optionally available with RC3P-log control panel with data logging capability. It can be used from 230 to 600 volts and is housed in a lightweight and durable rubber box with handle and lid.
For textile carcass belts, sufficient pressure of 7 kg/cm2 (100 psi) is delivered by compressors.
For steel carcass belts, the HPP20-4 pump with 3/4 HP motor power and 75 liter tank easily delivers pressures up to 14 kg/cm2 (200 psi). Liquid level and pressure scales are included with the pump. Additional tanks can be easily added for larger presses. An optional cooled system is also available (HPPC20-4).
